Tom Potter
In 1976 and at the age of 60, Tom became a ‘Born again Biker’. He became the proud owner of the very latest 1976 1000cc K1 Honda goldwing (which is still in the family today)
He joined the Goldwing Owners Club of Great Britain in 1980, purchased an 1100 Aspencade in 1982 and in 1986 moved up again to his Special Edition American Spec 1200.
His bike was used every day and he regularly rode between England and Spain, attending every Spanish Treffen.
Many of us remember him receiving the oldest rider award at British Treffens. He was also awarded the oldest rider award at every Spanish Treffen.
Both the British and Spanish oldest rider awards are named after Tom.
