Wendy was born in Bristol on the 21st October 1944,
she met Terry (Gramps) Mitchell when she was just 15, three years later they were married.
In 1983 they bought their 1100 Goldwing which they never changed, it lead the funeral procession ridden by Steve Hendy, with Wendy’s Helmet on the pillion seat and was followed by nineteen Wings.
Wendy contracted breast cancer in 2003 and bravely fought it, always smiling and giving everyone the impression that nothing was wrong.
Wendy touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She lost her four year battle in the arms of her loved ones on the 2nd October 2007.
